Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Draft for legal review. This policy has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and will be updated before the EarnTime app launches.
This policy explains what information EarnTime collects through this website (earnti.me), how we use it, and how we are designing the EarnTime app to handle family information. If you have a question, email [email protected].
Information we collect on this website
Early-access list
When you join the early-access list we collect:
- your name,
- your email address,
- the number of children in your family, if you choose to tell us,
- the date you signed up, the consent wording you agreed to, and the country your request came from (worked out by our hosting provider from your connection, not your exact location).
The early-access list is meant for parents and other adults. Please don't enter a child's details.
How we use it
We use this information only to email you about EarnTime's early access and launch, and to understand how many families are interested. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Where it's stored
The website and the early-access list are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the data on our behalf. If we later use an email service to send launch updates, it will process your name and email address on our behalf only.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we add analytics, we'll choose a privacy-friendly option and update this policy first.
Your choices
Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected].
How the EarnTime app is being designed
The EarnTime app is in development and not yet available. These are the privacy principles we are building it on. The app will have its own detailed privacy notice, including a notice for children's information, before it launches.
- Parents are in charge. A parent creates the family account and gives consent before any information about a child is stored.
- Only what's needed. For a child, the app is designed to keep a nickname, an avatar, an age range, their chores, proof photos and their minutes balance. It is not designed to collect birth dates, browsing history, the websites a child visits, or message content.
- Photos don't stick around. Chore proof photos are planned to be deleted automatically after 30 days.
- No selling or advertising. Children's information will never be sold, given to advertisers, or made public.
- Deletion. Parents will be able to delete a child's profile and the information linked to it.
Children
This website is meant for parents. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the information.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top.
